Tenkile Conservation Alliance

Project 11 of 27

The Tenkile Conservation Alliance is based in North West Papua New Guinea.

It’s aim is to save the Tenkile tree kangaroo (also known as Scott’s tree kangaroo) and the Weimang (also known as the Golden-mantled tree kangaroo) from becoming extinct. And they’re doing well too, as you’ll see in the site.

What’s especially exciting for me about all this is I’m a Golden-mantled tree kangaroo (or Weimang) so these folks are looking after my own kind. And they’re very close to where I live!
